Legacies

Legacies is a platform designed to deepen meaningful relationships, drive thoughtful reflection, and manage your digital afterlife. Our teams mission was to create a brand new product from scratch in the realms of digital relationsships and afterlife. From the beginning the UX research phase consisted of target group explorations through qualitative interviews and quantitative research. From early prototyping to high fidelity prototypes we continuously tested to reiterate the first solution for a beta launch. We also worked on the first branding of the app and new company as a whole. The inspiration was found from how the sun rises and sun downs just like the ebbs and flows of life. The colorful gradients represent the spectrum of the colors of light, which in turn felt suitable for signaling the different seasons of life. We worked as a small team of three designers to help create deliverables for UI in figma to our developers. I was primarly in charge of the UI and UX functionality of the HI-FI prototyping phase which guided the end result of the actual product and website. I was also the lead designer of the new branding and animations.
